I started my own studio with focus of the mix. It's actually well equipped recording studio cappable to record whole rock or pop album but my philosophy that market is overloaded by recording studios and I enjoy a lot this kind of "lonely job" whith mixing and getting the best sound. I like to colaborate so that's why I preffer to take over job from the recording studio. Same with the mastering - I am happy if I can work just on the mastering where recording and mixing has been done in other studios. More "ears" are always the best approach for the musician.
